Global fashion brand Ralph Lauren found itself at the center of a storm after sharing photos of Israeli actress Gal Gadot from her new Modern Luxury cover shoot, prompting a barrage of antisemitic comments.
In a post published on Ralph Lauren's official Instagram account, which has about 16 million followers, Gadot is seen wearing a gold dress and heels from the brand's Fall 2026 collection. "Actress Gal Gadot shines on the cover of Modern Luxury," the caption said alongside the image, photographed by Tal Abudi.

'Bye-bye, Ralph Lauren. We're blocking you'
The fashion tribute, however, received an especially hostile response from antisemitic users, who flooded the post with calls to boycott Ralph Lauren over its decision to feature and openly celebrate the Israeli actress.
Among the thousands of angry comments were: "Bye-bye, Ralph Lauren," "No Zionists," "Huge disappointment" and "Very bad decision." Other users added threats such as "We're blocking you" and explicit calls for a full consumer boycott.
At the same time, many users responded to the uproar with mockery and sarcasm, quickly pointing out a particularly ironic historical detail to those attacking the brand. "Does nobody know Ralph himself is Jewish," one user quipped, drawing support from others.
