Officials are concerned that ignoring the political aspects of the post-war reality could have Israel face a fait accompli on various matters down the road.

Technically speaking the massacre occurred within the borders of Israel, but Israel was not there. Technically speaking, the massacre occurred after 1948, when the Jews had a safe haven, but on that day – they were in the Diaspora.

Hamas is ISIS. Had the terrorists been able to, they would have executed all the remaining millions of Israelis as well. This was an act of genocide, and the response should be total destruction of Hamas, the killing of all the terrorists and those who helped and supported them, and the destruction of all the military capabilities they have.
