According to a Palestinian source, Egypt is optimistic about the proposal’s chances of success, in light of the upcoming meeting between Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Trump. The source also added that “Hamas has shown flexibility regarding the day after the ceasefire.”

In a precision strike early Friday morning, the Israeli Air Force eliminated Hassan Farhat, a senior Hamas commander in Lebanon who was responsible for rocket attacks that killed an Israeli soldier and wounded others in February.
