Foreign Minister Israel Katz called the countries' "distorted step" to recognize Palestinian statehood "an injustice to the memory of the October 7 victims."

So far, almost 290 soldiers lost their lives in the war that started on Oct. 7 when Hamas attacked Israeli communities and army bases in the south, killing almost 1200 people and kidnapping 250.  

Israel's National Security Minister visits the holy site following several European nations' recognition of a Palestinian state. "Tonight we will receive further proof of why Hamas must be completely destroyed," Ben Gvir said referring to footage of female hostages expected to be released this evening.

The report cites a person familiar with US intelligence, who revealed that Hamas has been able to withstand the Israeli offensive by recruiting thousands of new fighters over the last several months.

Norway said it will recognize a Palestinian state by May 28. Concurrently, the leaders of Spain and Ireland have also publicly declared their intent to recognize a Palestinian state.

The Israeli Communications Ministry had earlier accused the AP of breaking the law by providing a live broadcast to Al Jazeera, which it placed under a temporary ban earlier this month, accusing it of endangering national security.

While President Biden was quick to condemn the arrest warrants for Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Gallant, France and Ireland stood behind the ICC's prosecutor's decision. Britain argued that the ICC lacked jurisdiction over the case, and Austria and Germany condemned the comparison between Israel's leadership and Hamas' chiefs.

"We are supplying now nearly half of the water of Gaza. We supplied only 7% before the war. This is completely opposite of what he's saying. He's saying we're starving people?" Netanyahu stated during an interview on "Good Morning America," saying prosecutor's pursuit of his arrest is meant to "demonize us."

The IDF stated two reserve soldiers were seriously wounded in fighting in Gaza overnight. Red alerts sounded in several Israeli communities due to rocket fire from Gaza, though no injuries were reported
