Elnaz Rekabi is greeted with flowers and cheers after competing without the mandatory hair covering in support of nationwide protests in Iran.

The suspects, all residents of Shuafat and Anata, are relatives and acquaintances of Uday Tamimi, who carried out a deadly terror attack on Oct. 8, killing Sgt. Noa Lazar.

Elnaz Rekabi competed without the compulsory hair covering in support of mass protests back home. Her friends say they have been unable to reach her since Sunday evening.

"This indirect agreement responds to Lebanese demands and maintains all our rights," President Michel Aoun says in a televised speech.

Officials say the agreement would include American security guarantees, including assurances that none of the gas revenues reach Hezbollah.

"This is a historic achievement that will strengthen Israel's security, inject billions into Israel's economy, and ensure the stability of our northern border," Prime Minister Yair Lapid says.

The anti-government protests in Sanandaj, 300 miles (500 kilometers) from the capital, are a microcosm of the leaderless protests that have roiled Iran.

Iran's intelligence ministry says the two Europeans fomented "insecurity" in Iran.

Sakir Ozkan Torunlar, a senior diplomat who had served as Turkey’s consul general in Jerusalem between 2010 and 2013, was named to the post, Anadolu Agency reported.
