In a sit-down interview with Israel Hayom from his campaign headquarters, rising GOP star Vivek Ramaswamy says the US should have Jerusalem's back but not "sleepwalk into wars we don't belong in." He also talks about what he learned from Israelis.

In an interview from his campaign headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, the rising GOP star clarifies controversial statements on US support to the Jewish state, says that the more the US gives to Israel, "the more we bolster the US industrial base itself." He further vows to keep aid intact, so long as Israel wants it. "At some point in time, if Israel comes to us as a true friend, as Bibi has done in the past, and says we don't need this, then great."

Trump was released on $200,000 bond and headed back to the airport for his return flight home to New Jersey, flashing a thumbs-up through the window of his sport utility vehicle as his motorcade left.
