Following the return of the hostages from Gaza, Israel would continue to facilitate the release of approximately 2,000 Palestinian detainees from its prisons, in accordance with the terms of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.

Israeli PM says authorities expect all living hostages to be released on Monday morning. Israeli military forces are conducting preparations to receive the hostages as early as Sunday evening, an Israeli official told WSJ.

Preparations to receive the hostage are already underway in Israel. Israeli officials say the reason there is still no confirmed time for the return of the living hostages is to enable a coordinated release of all of them at once and to avoid delays or mishaps.

The Qatari delegation to Sharm el-Sheikh was involved in a car accident in the Sinai Peninsula while the Qatari Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, was in the region for hostage talks.
