The Israeli Navy is preparing to take control of the flotilla heading toward Gaza in the coming hours, with the operation expected to last several days, according to IDF assessments.

The Spanish government has called on participants in the so-called “Sumud Flotilla” heading toward the Gaza Strip to turn back, warning that the voyage would not be allowed to enter the naval blockade zone enforced by the IDF.
