Investigators say a Jordanian 32-year-old man, Taer Shaafut, whose family is from Hebron, was recruited to carry out undercover activities, and was sent to Israel on Iranian orders. Man tried to engage in business activity in order to set up Iranian terrorist network in Israel.

Central Bureau of Statistics says Israeli exports to Asia grew by 23.5% between March and May 2019, while imports from the continent dropped by 17.1%. Imports of goods from the EU comprised 41%, whereas 14% of imports were of US origin.
