For the second time in a week, a Jewish passenger has reported an antisemitic incident aboard a flight operated by the US airline JetBlue. Jewish travelers are now calling for a boycott of the company.

Around 20 Muslim-majority countries, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, condemned Israel’s plan to occupy Gaza. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky rejected Russian President Vladimir Putin’s proposal to end the war in Ukraine. And Iran announced it had arrested 20 spies working for the Mossad.

Protesters were arrested in central London during a demonstration in support of “Palestine Action,” which was declared a terrorist organization last month. They gathered in Parliament Square with signs of support despite police warnings. The group was outlawed in Britain last month after its activists broke into a Royal Air Force base and caused £7 million ($9 million) in damage to refueling aircraft.

The two countries are ending a nearly 40-year territorial conflict, granting the US a foothold in a critical region bordering Iran and deep within the former Soviet sphere.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz following the latter’s announcement that Berlin would freeze arms shipments to Israel intended for the war in Gaza. Netanyahu said Germany was rewarding terrorism instead of “supporting Israel’s just war against Hamas, which carried out the most brutal attack on the Jewish people since the Holocaust.”
