The military identified one of the men as Mohammed Jalamneh, 27, from Jenin, who it said had contacts with Hamas headquarters abroad and was planning "a raid attack inspired by the October 7 massacre."

The tunnel was a critical part of Hamas' infrastructure for coordinating attacks against IDF forces.

Under the program showcased at the event, several settlements would be established in the Gaza Strip: Yishai "will be built on the outskirts of the devastated town of Beit Hanoun,” Maoz on the southern Gaza coast, and the “Gates of Gaza” on "the destroyed city of Khan Younis." There would also be a dedicated area of Haredi settlement called “Hessed La'alafim” south of Rafah.

The document says intelligence gathered shows that at least 190 UNRWA workers had ties to Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
