Israel Hayom is a media organization founded on the belief that the Israeli public deserves better journalism—more balanced, more accurate, and more reliable. Journalism that speaks rather than shouts. Journalism that is trustworthy, objective, and matter-of-fact. A different kind of journalism, offered free of charge. The first print edition was published on July 30, 2007, and in 2010 Israel Hayom became the Israeli newspaper with the highest weekday readership. The newspaper’s publisher is Dr. Miriam Adelson. Its Editor-in-Chief is Omar Lachmanovitch, and its founding editor is Amos Regev. Israel Hayom’s Hebrew and English websites, as well as its Android and iOS applications, provide around-the-clock news coverage, exclusive content, breaking news and updates, analysis and commentary, video, podcasts, and live broadcasts. The digital platforms of Israel Hayom include news and opinion channels covering culture and entertainment, lifestyle, technology, sports, business and consumer affairs, health, military affairs, food, Judaism, tourism, and automobiles. In 2021, a new Hebrew-language website and mobile application were launched to provide users with a fast, up-to-date, secure, and convenient experience. The content of the newspaper’s print edition is also available online through a daily digital edition and can be received via newsletter. “The Israel Hayom Clique,” the publication’s exclusive benefits club, offers website users discounts and special promotions on products and services. Israel Hayom welcomes feedback, criticism, and suggestions for improvement from its readers. You can contact the organization by email at hayom@israelhayom.co.il

Hezbollah flags in NYC?

I am all for freedom of speech and diversity of opinions but I refuse to accept the promotion and vindication of Hezbollah on American streets.

As reported by the Twitter account of the BDS Report, individuals are shown marching through the streets of NYC waving Palestinian flags and yes, Hezbollah flags. Let me be clear: Any individual or American who supports Hezbollah has no business being an American or living in this country. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization that has murdered hundreds of Americans.

Hezbollah is an Iranian Regime proxy in Lebanon and a Foreign Terrorist Organization as designated by the US Department of State. They have also been labeled as a Terrorist Organization by Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, Argentina, Honduras, and the Gulf Cooperation Council (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Kuwait). They are directly and indirectly responsible for the savage murders of Americans, Christians, and Jews around the world.

Here is a quick primer on Hezbollah;

Hezbollah was founded in 1982 by Iran's Revolutionary Guards as a Shiite Islamist political party and militant group based in Lebanon. They are the most powerful terrorist group in Lebanon due to their heavily armed militia. Much of these arms and the training that came with these arms points directly to the Iranian regime. Hezbollah is both a political movement and a fully functioning army.

It's been estimated by US Officials that Hezbollah receives as much as $700 Million per year from the Iranian regime. Hezbollah has also received Iranian-supplied weaponry, including reportedly 11,500 missiles already in place in southern Lebanon pointed at Israel. Roughly 3,000 Hezbollah military operatives have reportedly undergone training in Iran, which included guerrilla warfare, firing missiles, and rocket training.

In 1982, they organized a suicide bomber attack in Beruit against the US Marine Corps and French military barracks that left 241 Americans and 58 Frenchmen dead.

In 1994, there was a deadly bombing of a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires, Argentina that left 85 Jews dead, murdered in cold blood. In 1992, 29 people were killed in an attack on the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires.  Hezbollah and Iran were responsible for these attacks.

That's a quick primer on Hezbollah.

No matter what your political leaning is, I hope we can all agree that Hezbollah is a horrible organization that should be dismantled at any cost. It is a terrorist organization that seeks to destroy America, the Jewish State of Israel, and to exterminate every Jew and Christian who lives inside Israel.

If individuals wish to wave Hezbollah flags in America, they can leave my country. They can relocate to Lebanon and they will see first hand how Hezbollah has destroyed a once vibrant country. I am all for freedom of speech and diversity of opinions but I refuse to accept the promotion and vindication of Hezbollah on American streets.

I would like to see elected leaders who represent New York City and the State of New York call this out instead of ignoring it. I would like to see Jewish leaders throughout America use their powerful voices and platforms to call this out instead of ignoring it.

We cannot ignore Hezbollah flags on the streets of NYC. We cannot let the chants of "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" run rampant in American society.
