Parents may soon be asked to fill out a form stating their children are healthy before they can be sent to school each day, Israel Hayom has learned.

The Education Ministry is exploring this option as part of the effort to avoid another surge in coronavirus cases when schools are reopened.
Israel has been under an almost-total lockdown for the past several months, but the government plans to lift some of the restrictions on Israeli citizens in the coming weeks.
One of the main concerns is that schools would become a hotbed for community spread of COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
The new from parents would have to sign would state that their children do not have any of the symptoms associated with the disease, such as high fever.
"We are looking at a whole host of sweeping ideas," a ministry official said. "We have yet to find a solution to all the problems."
The ministry may also distribute thousands of face masks to the teaching staff across the country and could require pupils to study outside the classroom, such as in gyms and schoolyards.
