Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf bin Alawi spoke on Monday with Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi about recent diplomatic developments, days after Israel and the United Arab Emirates announced a historic deal to normalize relations, an Omani news outlet reported.
According to the report, Oman reiterated its stance in support of peace and justice in the Middle East, "and the need to renew negotiations and secure the Palestinian people's legitimate demands for an independent state with east Jerusalem as its capital."
