In response to two blatant anti-Semitic incidents form opposite sides of the world, World Zionist Organization Vice Chairman Yaakov Hagoel said Tuesday that "We must uproot this morbid epidemic."
This past weekend in Los Angeles, Jon Eugene Minadeo II was found responsible for hanging anti-Semitic signs on Interstate 405. He also stood outside a synagogue in Marina del Rey with a megaphone, shouting anti-Jewish slogans.

In Norfolk, Australia, residents found anti-Semitic and racist leaflets on their cars that accused Jews of "race mixing."
"Anti-Semitism is a morbid epidemic that needs to be addressed and uprooted everywhere and at all times with full force. We must not be indifferent to it," Hagoel said.
