The percentage of positive coronavirus test results in Israel's Arab sector in the past 24 hours was 5.9%, more than five times higher than the percentage of positive results in the general population, the National Security Council reported Thursday.
Israel's Haredi Jewish sector had a positive percentage of 2.1% for the same 24-hour period.

Of the 754 new confirmed cases in the past 24 hours, approximately half (358) were Arab Israelis. Another 76 were members of the Haredi sector and the rest were representative of the country's general population.
