Israel's artistic gymnastics team took the gold medal in the group all-around category at the 2020 European Championships in Kyiv on Friday. The 33.475 points the team received in the first qualifying round and the 34.1 points from the group all-around competition brought the team its gold.

Members of the group include gymnasts Ophir Dayan, Yana Kramarenko, Yuliana Tilgin, Shai Ben Ruby, Bar Shposhnikov, and Karin Waxman. The team is coached by Ira Vigdorchik, Racheli Feiga Vigdorchik, and Noa Kadosh.
The Israeli sailing team also celebrated a significant achievement on Saturday, talking multiple medals at the European Sailing Championship in Portugal.
Yoav Cohen won the gold, while Olympic medalist Shahar Zobari took home the silver in the men's race. Katie Spichkov took the silver medal in the women's race and secured a place in the Tokyo Olympics next summer.
Last Saturday, Peter Paltchik won the gold medal at the 2020 European Judo Championship defeating Russia's Arman Adamian at this year's tournament in Prague.
