The scene in the fictional show, featured an Israeli plane belonging to the fake Air Israel airline land in the US, after which an Israeli distributes crates full of vaccine vials, to the delight of the characters in the show.
Another scene showed a vaccination center in the US in which one character complains that only certain groups get the shot. "In Israel, everyone gets a vaccine," another character responds.
Gilad Erdan, Israel's ambassador in the US and the United Nations, tweeted a clip of the episode, praising it while also attacking Saturday Night Live for allegedly trying to portray Israel as racist state for not doing enough to share vaccines with the Palestinians.
"Hey @nbcsnl: this is how you do pandemic humor when it comes to Israel. Watch and learn from @SouthPark," Erdan tweeted.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also shared a clip of the episode in a tweet, writing: "South Park knows that in Israel, things are coming back to life."
