A man from Ramat Gan is standing trial for allegedly vandalizing his former wife's car with honey.
Authorities say that beyond inflicting damage, he may have also jeopardized her health as she is allergic to honey and according to her own testimony, this could have led to her death.

The woman reported the damage to the police after seeing the damage to her car, which included flattened tires and a mirror covered with honey. She also saw that he had engraved on the doors 'Hitler' and reported threatening text messages from her former husband. These messages included the following: "I hope your current husband batters you all your life," "I hope you get infected with coronavirus and be severely ill so that all the bad things you have caused my family will hit you back."
The man, who is in his thirties, was arrested and will stay in custody throughout his trial.
