Israel Aerospace Industries and German sensor solutions provider Hensoldt announced last week that they have signed a deal to supply new radars to the German Armed Forces. The deal is reportedly worth €200 million ($237 million).
According to IAI, the radars will "modernize the German military's airspace surveillance and build up ballistic missile defence capabilities."

Germany has reportedly ordered the delivery and installation of four long-range radars as part of Berlin's "Hughes Air Defence Radar Nachfolgesystem" program.
The deal will see Hensoldt enter a deal with IAI subsidiary Elta Systems.
