Students from all over the world attending the NCSY summer kollel program in Beit Meir came together last week to show solidarity with Avi Zinger, Ben and Jerry's franchise holder in Israel, whose license stands to expire over his refusal to abide by the ice cream giant's decision to bar sales in Judea and Samaria.

Last week saw 25 boys, ages 15-21, volunteer at Mitzpeh Yericho's "Support and thank Ben and Jerry's Israel ice cream party," where they handed out over 600 cups of B&J ice cream to children who attended the event. Treats were available in all flavors, including sherbet for the lactose intolerant.
Mitzpeh Yericho Mayor Aliza Pilichowski said, "We in Mitzpeh Yericho are grateful to Avi and his staff for their support for the Jewish people and specifically to Judea and Samaria. We understand that we as a Jewish people are fighting a war against BDS, which is synonymous with antisemitism.
"Mitzpeh Yericho stands with Ben & Jerry's Israel and we are calling out to our friends around the world that stand against antisemitism, racism, and human rights violations," she said.
