The tour was guided by Jeff Daube, Israel executive chair of the International Committee for Har Hazeitim. CUFI Director Jessica Marzocco said the tour was "magnificent," adding it was "essential for our young leaders to come to Israel and see where and how history is shaped."
ICHH Executive Director Shalom Lerner showed CUFI members where the new visitors' center is slated to be built on the site, saying it will include a full database as well as the ability to learn about the history and teachings of great Jewish leaders.
Lerner expressed great appreciation for the wonderful work the CUFI does in campuses across the United States and said he hopes the Mount of Olives visitor center will soon enable Jews and Christians to learn more about the site and its Jewish history.
