According to viewership data published by Flix Patrol, a website that ranks the popularity of movies and television series across numerous streaming sites and content providers, the Israeli show is currently number one on Netflix.

The show has made the Top-10 list on Netflix in over 66 countries, including England, Sweden, Romania, Hungary, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Argentina, New Zealand and others.

Most surprisingly, however, Hit & Run has also been rather popular in the Arab world. In the first week since its premiere, it has been among the 10-most popular shows watched in countries such as Morocco, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, and even Lebanon.

In Egypt, too, the series has garnered particularly high viewership ratings. According to one recent feature article in the Egyptian press, Hit & Run and Fauda are changing the stereotypical perceptions of Israelis among Arab audiences.

Created and co-written by Raz and journalist Avi Issacharoff, Hit & Run tells the story of Israeli tour guide Segev Azulai (Raz) whose life is turned upside down when his wife, played by Kaelen Ohm, is killed in a mysterious hit-and-run accident in Tel Aviv. In the search for his wife's killers, who have fled to the US, Azulai uncovers disturbing truths and the secrets she kept from him.
