'My dream is that all prisoners should be free'

"If six prisoners succeeded in breaching the prison – millions of Palestinians will stop the occupation. The people will be free, and the prisoners will be free," Ayman Odeh tells "Meet the Press." Otzma Yehudit party chief: My dream is that there should be no terror supporters in the Knesset.

Joint Arab List leader Ayman Odeh on Saturday expressed support of the Palestinian terrorists who escaped prison last week, saying that he would like to see all jailed security prisoners freed.

Four of the six fugitives were caught over the weekend. The manhunt for the remaining two continues with full force, amid concerns they are planning to mount a terrorist attack.

In an interview with Channel 12's "Meet the Press," Odeh said that "People escaped from prison - we need to shut all of the prisons.

"All of these prisoners need to be in the Palestinian state that will be founded alongside Israel. The occupation is the root of all evil. There is only one last occupation in the entire world - what Israel does to the Palestinian nation."

The head of the Joint Arab List, an alliance comprising Balad, Ta'al, and Hadash, further said, "My dream is that there will be no more prisons, there will be no more occupation.

In a Facebook post on Saturday morning, Odeh wrote, "If six prisoners succeeded in breaching the prison – millions of Palestinians will stop the occupation. The people will be free, and the prisoners will be free."

Itamar Ben-Gvir, head of the far-right Otzma Yehudit party, was later quoted by Israel National News as saying, "Ayman Odeh should be jailed alongside the terrorists whom he supports.

"My dream is that there should be no terrorists in the country and no terror supporters in the Knesset, and that the State of Israel brings back its deterrence and sovereignty."
