An Israel Defense Forces soldier sustained minor wounds after a ramming attack in the Binyamin region near the Jewish community of Halamish, first responders reported on Tuesday.

According to initial reports, the soldier was from the Giv'ati Infantry Brigade and the Palestinian attacker was detained. Paramedics said the 19-year-old soldier was hit in his limbs at the junction on Route 450, at the Halamish Junction. The driver then tried to flee the area
This is the latest in a string of attacks in Judea and Samaria in recent weeks, including a deadly shooting near the Homesh outpost, which killed one and injured another.
