The Israel Police arrested on Tuesday a rabbi in his 70s from Jerusalem who is suspected of molesting two male minors, one a relative.

The investigation of the suspect began after recent complaints were filed with the Beit Shemesh police about alleged sexual improprieties by the rabbi. The alleged incidents reportedly took place a number of years ago.
The suspect was due to appear in court on Wednesday for a remand hearing, and the investigation is ongoing.
