Thursday's ruling saw the Jerusalem Magistrates' Court also order Adkidak to pay Kadosh 150,000 shekels ($4,700) in damages.
Adkidak, 41, from East Jerusalem, was indicted for robbery and grievous bodily harm.
The attack left Kadosh, 74, in serious condition. He was rushed to Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in the capital with a head injury and was in a medically induced coma three weeks before his condition improved.
