The purchase marks one of the most expensive real-estate deals in the country's history.
Allon co-founded Compass Real Estate, a SoftBank-backed technology-based startup considered to be one of the largest real estate agencies in the US with over 19,000 agents around the country.
Compass reported that its 2020 revenues climbed to $3.7 billion from $2.4 billion in 2019.
