An unfortunate incident during the crucial moments of The X Factor Israel's finale on Saturday resulted in an unusual situation for one of the production staff members.

According to many witnesses, she accidentally tripped while making her way to the judges at the popular music show, during a crucial ad break before a winner – Israel's contestant for the Eurovision Song Contest in Italy later this year – was to be announced.
She had planned to go back to the control room before the ad break was over but because she slipped she could not hand out the snacks or go back without being seen by the viewers on the screen, so she opted to lay low for some very long minutes.

Since no one else at the production saw her fall, this was her only recourse until the judges completed the scoring and the show was no longer live.
