Canadian music icon Paul Anka is set to perform in Israel in July, Israel Hayom learned Tuesday. The 80-year-old singer, considered the king of romance, will perform at the Caesarea Amphitheater in northern Israel.

Anka's musical career spans over 60 years. The award-winning singer has sold over 90 million copies of his albums and has written over 500 songs. He is best known for his signature hit songs Diana, Lonely Boy, Put Your Head on My Shoulder, and Having My Baby, and he also wrote one of Frank Sinatra's evergreen hits, My Way.
July's show will be the sixth time Anka has included Israel in one of his world tours. He last performed in Israel in 2019, in Tel Aviv's Menora Mivtachim Arena.
