According to the data, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, April 15, Israelis made 278.9 million shekels worth of credit card purchases.
From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, the day before the eve of the holiday, Israel's credit card processing systems recorded a total of 1.32 billion shekels ($410 million), more than was expended in the same time frame in either 2021 or 2019.
