Dershowitz, who taught at Harvard Law School from 1964 to 2013, spoke to seventy Harvard graduates at the Harvard Club of Israel who convened an urgent Zoom meeting on the matter, on May 11.
"Harvard is a microcosm of the unpreceded rise of antisemitism spreading across North Americans University Campuses," he said.
Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs researcher and Harvard alumnus Dan Diker said that BDS and the Palestine Solidarity Committee are both affiliated with Jihadi organizations and call for the elimination of the State of Israel.
"Both BDS and PSC agendas drive an ideological war, seeking the annihilation of sovereign Jews in Israel in the name of human rights," he said.
Vowing support for the Jewish state, President of the Harvard Club of Israel Sagi Melamed said that the group will continue to "serve as a bridge between the Harvard community and Israel. We care about Israel and also about Harvard. Anti-Zionist and antisemitic campus environment is first and foremost – bad for Harvard!
