"Being Jewish, it is an honor for me and to represent Israel. [It] feels right in my heart," the 22-year-old wrote on Instagram, announcing the move.
In her short career, Ahorner has achieved 38 victories in the 215 competitions in which she participated.

The talented equestrian, who loves Israel, has visited the country many times in the past to visit family and friends who reside here. Nevertheless, most of her time Ahorner spent training in Austria.

"I want to thank the Austrian Federation for their support over the past ten years; I have been proud to represent a country I love."

"And thank you to the Israeli Federation for the incredibly smooth transition. I can't wait to start this beautiful new chapter and work towards our shared goals. More than ever, I am committed to being the best rider I can be and continue to learn all that I can and give it my all under this new flag," she wrote.
