Israeli forces came under fire in the West Bank overnight Thursday while conducting a raid.

Forces were in Jenin, a known Islamic stronghold, to arrest individuals involved in terror activity. Three Palestinians were killed in the exchange of fire. No Israeli injuries were reported.
The IDF has been conducting almost nightly raids in Jenin as part of Operation Breakwater, a counterterrorism operation it launched in the summer in response to terror attacks perpetrated by Palestinian in Israel earlier in the year, in which 19 Israelis were killed.
