Members of the Swedish parliament concluded their visit to Israel on Sunday.

During the visit, they attended a ceremony held at the Raoul Wallenberg Park in Tzoraa Forest and visited the Yatir Forest, the largest planted forest in Israel, where they learned from Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael – Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) specialists about forestry in arid and semi-arid areas, water harvesting and plantations.
Commemorating the empathy and deep roots of the connection between Israel and Sweden, the member of the Swedish parliament and Chairman of the Swedish Parliament's friendship association, Magnus Oscarsson said, "Remembering the six million Jewish people that were killed in the Holocaust and honoring Raoul Wallenberg's legacy emphasizes the strong connection between Sweden and Israel….It is very important for our delegation to visit this special place and Israel in connection with the state of Israel celebrating 75 years."
