Morgan asked Thomas for his response to the video, in which two captives were shown and which the IDF later described as "deeply concerning." In response, he shouted, "No!", recalling that some of the captives shown were with his daughter in Hamas captivity.
Emily Hand, 9, wipes away her father's tears as he finds out one of the Hamas hostages who was held captive alongside her has been killed.

Emily wiped his tears and stroked him. "They are from Kibbutz Be'eri and Itai Sevirsky was with Emily the whole first period of captivity, nothing happened to him then. Noa [another captive shown] is alive and I hope it stays that way," Thomas recounted.
Earlier this evening, an IDF spokesman announced that there is "serious concern for the lives of Sevirsky and another male captive shown in the video." Brig. Gen. Daniel Hagari also announced that a sign of life was received from Noa Argamani. The IDF spoke with the families of the three captives who have been in Gaza captivity for over 100 days.
