Sina Amjadian, a United Airlines pilot of Iranian descent, will be barred from flying to Israel as a crew member, as a result of Israel's new scrutiny of airline crews in the wake of the Sept. 30 cockpit-led attack on the Tel Aviv-bound Flydubai flight. The ban follows intelligence that the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism forwarded to security officials and the Ministry of Transport. Consequently, any flight staffed by the pilot will be denied entry into Israeli airspace.

The pilot has reportedly used social media to endorse the Iranian regime, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and the Hezbollah terrorist organization. The allegations stem from posts made by other users on the X network – rather than direct statements from the pilot submitted to Israeli authorities. Addressing the issue, a statement circulated by the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism read, "This is information that raises concern and requires a professional security review, given the sensitive role of a pilot in an international airline and the direct responsibility for the safety and security of passengers and crew members."

The ministry elaborated on its surveillance efforts and added, "The Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism operates regularly to monitor, collect, and analyze information from open sources, with an emphasis on manifestations of antisemitism, incitement, and calls to harm Jews and Israelis worldwide. Against the backdrop of the incident on the Flydubai flight, it is defined as part of the national implications and the monitoring and tracking of elements that may pose a threat in this context. As part of monitoring publications on the X network, reports were brought to the ministry's attention regarding the pilot Sina Amjadian of Iranian descent, who is allegedly employed by the American airline United Airlines and reportedly resides in Dubai. Attached is an appendix with the relevant findings."

BREAKING: Yet another American pilot pledging loyalty to the Islamic Republic, with disturbing content and affiliations to match.

Sina Amjadian flies 737s for United out of LAX. Before that, seven years as a flydubai captain. On July 5 he kissed the regime's emblem on camera, saluted, and captioned it "it won't fall."

Regime flag pinned to his United uniform. Khamenei reposts during the June war. A "United States of Israel" cartoon. A new X avatar of a cheetah tearing the Israeli flag.

Add a pending debt suit, travel through Sudan and Eritrea, and a reused password that starts with "Iran." That is the textbook blackmail profile, in a cockpit.

Five pilots. Four airlines. One month. Who is flying our planes?

Not about policing posts. About deeper background checks, and airlines acting when this surfaces.

Highlighting the severity of the findings, the document stated, "According to the publications, statements expressing support for the Iranian regime, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and the Hezbollah terrorist organization are attributed to this individual, alongside content of an anti-Israeli and anti-American nature. This is information that raises concern and requires a professional security review, given the sensitive role of a pilot in an international airline and the direct responsibility for the safety and security of passengers and crew members. We would appreciate a review of the information and an update on the findings of the examination and the steps taken."
