Reports in Gaza suggest that "military forces were withdrawing from areas located in the western part of the Gaza district and north of the strip."

Palestinian journalists noted that "for the first time since the start of the ground maneuver, military vehicles withdrew from this area." It was also reported that residents began to arrive at the site and visit their destroyed homes.
Israel Hayom has been unable to confirm the report but there is social media footage claiming residents were heading back to their homes in the area, weeks after Israel told them to leave for their own safety because of the ongoing hostilities.
