The demonstration was held with the participation of Jerusalem Deputy Mayor Aryeh King, bereaved families and relatives of kidnapped victims, and dozens of organizations.
Numerous countries have suspended funding for UNRWA as its employees are suspected to have participated in the Oct. 7 onslaught on Israeli towns bordering the Gaza Strip.
Demonstrators called on the Israeli government to act immediately to prohibit the operations of the agency.
Deputy Mayor Aryeh King stated at the beginning of the event in his speech, "For years I have been begging the various governments of Israel to throw this organization out of Jerusalem, long before the massacre in the south and the war. I begged because I read their books in which 'Jerusalem', 'Tel Aviv' and 'Ashkelon', did not exist, only Arab cities, and that's because they don't want to see even a single Jew here."
