Several explosive UAVs were fired from Lebanon struck the northern town of Metula, injuring two people according to initial reports. The Hezbollah terror group claimed responsibility, stating they fired explosive rocket-propelled grenades toward the Golan Heights area.
The attack came after the Israeli Air Force struck about 15 military buildings and terror sites belonging to Hezbollah's Radwan Force in southern Lebanon earlier Monday. Those strikes were in response to warnings of hostile aircraft infiltration from Lebanon.
Palestinians also reported nine killed in an Israeli attack on Rafah in Gaza overnight between Sunday and Monday. There were Arab reports as well of an Israeli strike deep in Lebanon's Baalbek region that injured three people.
Meanwhile, the US Defense Secretary spoke with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and expressed condolences over the incident in Kerem Shalom where three IDF soldiers were killed by an anti-tank missile fired from Gaza on Sunday night.
