Several senior Russian officials, experts in missile technology, visited Iran over the past year, coinciding with periods of military strikes against Israel and Israeli attacks in Iran in April and October, Reuters reported on Tuesday.
Documents obtained by Reuters show that the delegation comprised seven weapons experts with senior military experience. Among them were two specialists in air defense missile systems, three artillery and missile experts, one individual with a background in advanced weapons development, and another who worked at a missile testing range, according to the records. Six of the individuals held official-use passports issued to government personnel and soldiers on work assignments abroad.

According to a senior official in Iran's Defense Ministry, the missile experts made several visits to Iranian missile production facilities, including two underground sites. A Western security official said that Russian experts visited an Iranian missile base in September, located approximately 15 kilometers west of Amirabad Port on Iran's Caspian Sea coast.
