US President Donald Trump announced Saturday on his TRUTH Social account that following negotiations, Israel has agreed to an initial withdrawal line that was presented to the Hamas terrorist organization.
According to Trump, once Hamas approves the proposal, the ceasefire will take immediate effect. The release of the hostages and the exchange of prisoners will also begin right away, followed by further stages aimed at ending what he called a "3,000 year catastrophe."
A diplomatic source told Qatari media earlier that a delegation from Doha will arrive in Egypt on Monday for the start of discussions on implementing President Trump's plan. The source added that these will be technical talks, aimed to launch the initial phase of Trump's plan.
