The first print edition was published on July 30, 2007, and in 2010 Israel Hayom became the Israeli newspaper with the highest weekday readership. The newspaper’s publisher is Dr. Miriam Adelson. Its Editor-in-Chief is Omar Lachmanovitch, and its founding editor is Amos Regev.
Israel Hayom’s Hebrew and English websites, as well as its Android and iOS applications, provide around-the-clock news coverage, exclusive content, breaking news and updates, analysis and commentary, video, podcasts, and live broadcasts.

Fake police investigation email circulating across Israel
The email, allegedly sent from the investigations department, stated: "In accordance with system instructions, a personal file requiring immediate clarification has been opened against you. Please review the summons details and act accordingly. Note: Failure to respond may be considered a serious violation of instructions."
Israeli Police warned the public about a fake email circulating with the message "final notice regarding personal investigation summons," which did not originate from law enforcement. The email, allegedly sent from the investigations department, stated: "In accordance with system instructions, a personal file requiring immediate clarification has been opened against you. Please review the summons details and act accordingly. Note: Failure to respond may be considered a serious violation of instructions."

Officials added that "the link attached to the message leads to a fake page pretending to be a summons review page. In any case where suspicion arises that this is a fraudulent inquiry, and there is concern about a phishing attempt."
Police reminded the public not to click on attached links, download files to computers, and to block the email address or phone number that sent the message.
