Harry Styles breaks his silence on Israel-Gaza with a single word

A one-word response at an Amsterdam show surfaces the political views of one of the world's biggest pop stars – and it turns out the humanitarian organization partnering with his tour is not neutral either.

British pop star Harry Styles has finally weighed in on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict – and one word is all it took.

The former One Direction star is currently performing in Amsterdam as part of the world tour promoting his fourth solo album, "Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally," released last March.

During his opening night in the Dutch capital on Saturday – running roughly concurrent with the Eurovision Song Contest final – a fan in the crowd was heard shouting, "Viva, Viva Palestina!"

Styles, pausing between songs to adjust his earpiece, glanced briefly in the fan's direction and replied, "Correct" – to cheers from nearby audience members. The moment was captured on video, which went viral across social media, accumulating tens of thousands of views, comments, and likes on TikTok and other platforms.

Styles, 32, one of the world's leading solo acts, rarely speaks publicly on political matters – particularly on sensitive issues. His brief but unambiguous response on the Middle East conflict is therefore likely to carry particular weight among his vast fan base. It has also emerged that one of the humanitarian charity organizations partnering with the singer's tour, Choose Love, is an overtly pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel group. The homepage of the organization's website states, "Palestinians are still experiencing genocide."

The organization's website – which operates in partnership with Styles – also states, "Gaza faces an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. Families are struggling to survive due to the destruction and shortages of medical aid, food, and clean water... Meanwhile, in the West Bank, settler violence, military raids, home demolitions, and movement restrictions are causing mass displacement, trauma, and loss of livelihood."

Harry Styles will continue performing in Amsterdam through June 5. He will then move on to London, São Paulo, Mexico City, New York, Melbourne, and Sydney – appearing multiple times in each city.
