Noam Bettan will appear tonight (Saturday) in the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest and will take the grand stage in Vienna, with the final starting at 22:00 Israel time. This follows extensive tensions surrounding the participation of Israel in the international competition, and even a boycott of the contest by Spain, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Slovenia.
The Israeli representative will perform with the song "Michelle", which combines lyrics in three languages: English, French, and Hebrew. This time, voting for the various countries will be permitted from the very beginning of the final, unlike in the past when voting was only allowed at the conclusion of the performances of all the countries.
Bettan will perform third in the final, with the performance order of the countries tonight being: Denmark, Germany, Israel, Belgium, Albania, Greece, Ukraine, Australia, Serbia, Malta, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Croatia, England, France, Moldova, Finland, Lithuania, Sweden, Cyprus, Italy, Norway, Romania, and Austria.
