Masked Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian woman and an NBC News crew on Saturday in the village of Jalud, near Nablus, the network reported. The Palestinian woman and three crew members were injured, and camera equipment and one of their vehicles were damaged.
The attack occurred after the crew interviewed Aida Ahmed Abdullah, 51, who claimed settlers had driven her family from their home. According to NBC, as the interviewee and crew members walked down a hill toward the house, a gray car with Israeli license plates drove toward them.
Footage from the incident shows at least four masked men getting out of the car, one of them holding a stick. According to the report, they beat Abdullah and the crew members with sticks and threw stones at them.
"They jumped out, beat us, then jumped back in the car," NBC News international correspondent Matt Bradley, who was struck twice on the hand and received treatment at a nearby clinic. Producer Lawahez Jabari and cameraman Khaldoon Eid were also injured and received medical care. Abdullah was evacuated to the hospital by the Red Crescent. According to the IDF and Border Police, her condition is not life-threatening.

Jabari said she noticed a gun in the attackers' hands, though she said it was not used. "Suddenly, a car came to us. The settlers had sticks. I saw a gun, but they didn't use the gun," she said. Eid added, "We were in the middle of a Palestinian area next to Palestinian houses."
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the incidents and said he strongly denounces the violent acts carried out, in his words, by a handful of rioters. "criminal acts of violence committed in the villages of Kosra and Jalud by a handful of rioters who violate the law, cause enormous injustice to the law-abiding settler public, hinder the IDF in fulfilling its missions and harm Israel's standing in the world," Netanyahu said, adding that he expects law enforcement to arrest those involved and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law as soon as possible, after three vehicles were already confiscated at the scene.
Security forces said that upon arriving in the area, they identified dozens of rioters who had barricaded themselves inside a Palestinian home while residents were still inside. Forces worked to remove them, separate the two groups, and confiscate vehicles belonging to suspects that were allegedly used to reach the scene. It was also reported that IDF and Border Police forces continue operating in Jalud and Qusra to prevent further disturbances and restore order in the area.
