A stabbing attack took place Monday at Maoz Yehuda Farm, near the community of Otzarin in Samaria. The farm owner seriously wounded and evacuated for medical treatment. The terrorist fled the scene in a vehicle, and Israel Defense Forces troops launched a manhunt. Following the pursuit, the terrorist was killed by IDF troops.
IDF forces located the terrorist near his vehicle in the area of the village of Idna. The terrorist attempted to stab the soldiers, and a company commander from the 411th Battalion opened fire, killing him.
The IDF said: "IDF troops will continue operating to thwart terrorism and maintain security in the Judea and Samaria area."
As part of the search for the terrorist, the IDF imposed a cordon on villages in the area. Officers from the Judea and Samaria District Police were also dispatched to the scene of the attack.
Magen David Adom emergency medic Aviel Mamalia said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a man about 20 years old who was fully conscious and had several stab wounds to his body. We provided him with initial medical treatment together with an IDF medical team, and he was evacuated to the hospital in moderate to serious condition."
