According to the latest data form the Health Ministry, there are more than 18,000 carriers in Israel, including 2,869 of whom are sick with COVID-19.

Half of the 129 new cases reported in foreign workers, who have no legal status. Most new carriers live in south Tel Aviv. Elsewhere, Safed in northern Israel has been labeled a "red city" due to spike in new cases.
"The infection rate means cases may be doubling every 10 days. We may already be at this rate, and I hope that this is not the case," Netanyahu says.
