According to a US source, the deal will be made either with whoever survives from the current Iranian regime or through the complete removal of all its representatives. In Israel and the US, attention is focused on the final-stage goals of the war: continuing to eliminate leaders and commanders, and degrading missile launch capabilities.
The elimination of senior Iranian figures has shaken the Islamic Republic, but it may just as easily push it toward further escalation. At the same time, a central question remains: how many more air sorties will be required to break the backbone of the Iranian regime?
Despite backing from Washington, the government of Ahmed al-Sharaa prefers to stay out of the war, fearing Iranian missile attacks and the risk of renewed internal sectarian conflict.
The IDF has detected heightened Hezbollah deployment and is preparing for large-scale rocket fire toward the north and center of Israel on Tuesday night, with local officials urging residents to stay near shelters.
