An American visitor to Israel expected the familiar McDonald's experience and discovered something that made her consider Aliyah.

The Wall Street Journal reported, citing a senior official, that Washington wants to deploy additional missile defense systems to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Israel. The claims may amount to deliberate deception, but the war in Ukraine has created a degree of shortage in launchers and interceptors for the various systems operated by the US military.

Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir discussed operational options with American counterparts as uncertainty remains over US military action.

"Integrating smart autonomous systems on roads, under supervision and control, is another step toward strengthening road safety and reducing accidents caused by human factors," Transportation Minister Miri Regev said.
